Project Description

For this project, we had to research technology in a country or a city. I decided to choose Medellin Colombia because I was interested in what problems they could have and what they did to overcome them. My partner choose Edinburgh, Scottland. 

One thing that I found interesting was that Colombia took advantage of technology and incorporated it into their daily lives. 

Lesson learned

In the process of my research, I learned a lot about the technology in Columbia. I thought that they would be a country that wasn’t up to date with technology. It was a big surprise to know that they were one of the countries that were using technology to it’s capacity. When working with my partner, I learned about her country too. Something that surprised me is the percentage of 18 year olds that can afford phones on their own. I thought that this rate would be higher.
