This is where users can manually create and manage customer bookings. It serves as the central hub for entering traveler details, selecting products, applying payments, and confirming reservations.
WHAT YOU WILL SEE IN THE "CREATE A BOOKING TAB"
SEARCH AND SELECT A PRODUCT
A search bar to find travel packages, tours, or other products.
Filters to refine results by destination, departure date, duration, or price.
The first part requires the store where the tour package is stored, the name or email of the customer, and the name of the product or the product code.
Note:
When creating a booking, make sure that you have selected the correct store, or else, you will not be able to search for the right tour. It is also important that the customer has an active Inspiring Vacations account.
When selecting a package, please make sure to select the “public” packages for regular bookings and "private" for those being advertised to a certain website. Follow the correct PRODUCT ID.
BOOKING SUMMARY & PRICING DETAILS
Overview of the selected tour/package, travel dates, and pricing.
Breakdown of cost per passenger, taxes, and discounts (if any).
The next part is where the agent has to put all the necessary information about the tour such as;
Departure date
Departure city
Number of pax
Room preference:
Pre and Post nights: If applicable
Add-ons: Optional tours, transfers (if applicable)
Special requests
Contact number,
Traveling companion, an
Booking type.
Insurance interest (for insurance quote coming from sales)
Add to Existing Order #: to make the booking a back to back booking.
This also shows the pricing summary of the package on the right-side.
Note: The installment and payment schedules will auto-populate once all fields have been completed.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT PROCESSING
Promo codes or special offers can be applied here.
Payment options: Credit card, bank transfer, or internal processing.
Fields to enter payment details and apply deposits.
Automated invoice generation after payment.
The third part is the payment details.
This part allows the user to add any coupon code if there’s one available and this is where the user selects the payment methods. Payments can be done using Credit Card.
CONFIRMATION & BOOKING STATUS
Final booking confirmation number is generated.
Status updates: Pending, Confirmed, Canceled, or Paid.
Email confirmation with itinerary details and receipts sent to the customer.
The FINAL part is the booking confirmation.
This will generate an invoice, booking details will be lodged in the system with applicable status and 2 emails will be sent to the customer for the invoice and booking details entered in the system.
