This page provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a task in ClickUp for any product amendment request.
OVERVIEW
An amendment is a change or update made to a booking or itinerary, usually provided by the supplier and requested via ClickUp for the Products Team to action. It can include updates like correcting hotel details, adding or changing wording, including an optional tour, arranging extra nights before or after a tour, updating passport information, adjusting costs, or handling other special requests.
This process ensures the booking is accurate and up to date for the customer.
AMENDMENT TYPES
Hotel Info – Update hotel name, address, contact details, or star rating.
Amend/Add Wording – Edit or add text in the itinerary.
Optional Tour – Add extra tours with pricing, commission, and details.
Pre/Post Accommodation – Add nights before or after the main tour.
Passport Info/Copy – Upload or update passport details.
Costing – Add or adjust costing routes.
Others – For amendment requests not covered above.
PROCESS
1.Log-in to ClickUp.
2. Click New in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
3. Select Templates > Use Template.
4. In the search bar, type Tailor and chose the template:
Tailor-Made – Package Name – Amendment Type – #
5. Click Use Template.
6. Update the Task Title with the package name, amendment request type, and amendment number.
7. Based on the amendment type, go to the appropriate section and fill out the required information.
8. Once completed, scroll down and click the three dots (…) > Dependencies.
9. Select Add linked task and search for the relevant booking to link.
10.Review all task details. If everything is correct, click Create Task.
