Booking confirmations vary depending on the package type chosen by the customer with Inspiring Vacations. Please adhere to the steps and guidelines provided for Allotment, Third-party, and combination bookings below:
Please note when checking for confirmation, always identify first the PACKAGE TYPE of the booked package of the customers.
After Booking Creation
After Passenger Details Form Submission
The booking status will be set to "Awaiting Supplier Confirmation."
The supplier must confirm all components of the booking before it is finalized in Perseus.
Confirmation typically takes 14-30 days from the booking creation date.
If the booking is not confirmed within 14 days, a task will automatically populate for Operations to follow up with the supplier.
For any follow-ups beyond this timeframe, raise a task to Operations.
1. CHECK CONFIRMATION STATUS
Go to HubSpot or Perseus and verify if the status is "Awaiting Supplier Confirmation."

2. INFORM THE CUSTOMER
Advise them that the confirmation is in progress and they will be notified once all arrangements are finalized.
3. CHECK FOR UNAVAILABLE DATES
If there are dates unavailable tickets linked to the deal, inform the customer that the MEL CS team will reach out to offer alternative dates.
