This guide outlines the processes for South America and LATAM flights.
LATAM GROUP BOOKING: ONLINE CHECK-IN ADVISORY
When a South American LATAM internal flight is issued as a group booking, online check-in is NOT possible for individual customers.
To address this, we are:
Updating trip documents to reflect this information.
Updating the email notifications sent by the Flights Team when these tickets are issued.

update as of November 13, 2024
To minimize calls requesting the itinerary and reduce the risk of escalations, Flights Team will now send the itinerary for South America bookings 60-65 days prior to departure.
The Global Flights Team will create a task for the MNL team to upload the itinerary. This task will be generated 60-65 days before departure.
Task example:
Flights team will need to upload the itinerary in Persues Files tab as Other.
Once the itinerary is uploaded, MNL team will notify Global Flights Team or the task creator, so they can send a bulk email informing the recipients that this will be their itinerary.
Important Notes
The itinerary uploaded 60-65 days prior to departure is the group itinerary that will be booked for all travelers.
E-tickets containing passenger name for each individual traveler and corresponding booking ID, will be sent 3-7 days before the departure date.
The group itinerary sent is the confirmed flight arrangement, as all flights have already been held.
