This page will guide you how to create a task to the Flights Team.
Tasks should be raised from the relevant deal.
Tasks can also be associated to certain tickets.

As much detail as possible. Ensure to use the handy snippet #flighttask to prompt the right information.
The flight specialist will review the details and tag the requestor with an update.
Raising a task from an existing ticket:
You must change the left hand side fields of the ticket, different pipelines require different fields.

Ops Ticket Type: Flights - Escalation
Agent Escalating: Yourself
Save these fields. When saved, please allow moment and a task will populate on the ticket you are working from.
You will need to provide further information to the team on your escalation.
Note: The team will work from the task, not from the ticket.
Complete the required feilds (in yellow) to give more insight into your escalation query.
Due date: This is the date you require an answer from the team. Please allow 24hr for a response
Assignee: Leave unassigned unless you have a specific agent who is taking care of this booking.
Note Fields: Leave detailed notes that have been pre-populated for you.
Associate: The task to the deal this escalation refers to.
After completing the above task information, you can change your ticket status to closed or in-progress.
The Global IV Flight Team will review the escalation and provide feedback on how you can move forward.
If the escalation requires a response or action from the Flight Team, they will take action accordingly.

Update as of 26/9/25
Based on recent updates, moving forward, the practice of re-opening tasks should no longer be allowed. If further assistance is required, a new task should be created if the original task has been already closed by the designated team.
