The Global Flights team sent out a proactive email to customers advertising our new Dubai stopover package.
If customers are asking questions, please use the information in the email to assist, and additionally direct the customer to respond to the email for further pricing information.

Email sent to customer
Who was it sent to:
The email was sent to Flight Inclusive/Flight Contribution customers for whom we are currently holding Long TTL with EK. The workflow pulled 180 bookings.
Why:
The email advised customers that we are holding EK flights for their upcoming tour and provided an opportunity for them to add a stopover to their package.
How the Global Flights Team will quote:
If a customer wishes to add a stopover, they should inform the flights team by replying to the email.
The flights team will then provide two costs:
The cost to upgrade tickets (the difference between the held fare and the current fare to add a stopover, with the $150 deviation fee waived).
The cost to add a stopover for their requested date.
When will the Global Flights Team send the quote:

The flight specialist will send a quote, including the cost to amend the included flights and the price for the Dubai stopover, 60 days prior to departure.
Timeline for Customer's Decision/Reply:
There is no strict timeline, but passengers cannot make a purchase within 40 days of travel.
Quote Provision Timeline:
The TTL for EK is 50 days before departure.
At the moment, Global Flights Team were able to respond to passengers within a couple of days, so they don't foresee major delays.
Cancellation & Resending quotation:
If the passenger decides to cancel the stopover, they would still need to pay for any flight reissue or related charges as per the usual T&Cs.
