Flight Deviation Request is a request made by a customer to modify the standard group flight itinerary, such as changing departure/return dates, airlines, or stopovers. Approval is subject to availability, airline policies, and additional costs.
TIMELINES
Current timeline for when flights will be issued:
60 days for deviations
35 days for standard packaged flights.
FOLLOW UP ON DEVIATIONS SCHEDULE 90 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE:
Escalate irate passenger cases to the Flights Escalation Task so GFT can provide a quote, but always push back first.
DEVIATION REQUESTS WITHIN 60 DAYS WITH NO ACTION TAKEN:
Always check the Pending Tickets and Schedule Change Checker if it is Approved for ticketing.
If not on the AFT (Approved For Ticketing) list, raise a task to Flights Escalation if pax is following up on a deviation within 60 days.
