Scenario: The customer decides to cancel the tour before the departure date.
Resolution:
Policy-Based Refund/Credit:
Depending on how far in advance the cancellation occurs, the customer may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to cancellation fees as outlined in the booking terms. Please check the cancellation timeline to determine if refund/credit can be applied to the cancellation request.
Non-Refundable payments:
If the cancellation occurs within 70 days before the tour starts, no refund will be provided.
Alternative Options:
The customer may be offered to transfer their booking to another person or reschedule for a future date. This option is usually discussed by the MEL CS Team.
Scenario: The customer decides to cancel while already on the tour, either due to personal reasons, health concerns, or any other unforeseen circumstance.
Resolution:
No Refund:
The customer is informed that there will be no refund for any unused portions of the tour (e.g., unutilized hotel stays, meals, excursions, transportation).
Independent Flight Arrangements:
The customer must arrange their own return flights, and these will not be covered by Inspiring Vacations.
Insurance Assistance:
CS encourages the customer to contact their travel insurance provider for potential claims related to unused services or additional travel expenses.
Scenario: A tour is canceled by Inspiring Vacations due to external factors like a natural disaster, political unrest, or government restrictions.
Resolution:
Partial Refund or Credit:
Customers are offered a partial credit (package price less supplier fees and operational costs)

Scenario: The customer experiences a medical emergency before the tour.
Resolution:
Standard Cancellation Policy:
Update as of 26/05/25 - The customer is subject to the standard cancellation policy regardless of timeline and MEL CS will assess as needed. Please send the cancellation form.
Rescheduling or Transfer:
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be able to transfer the booking to someone else or reschedule for a later date (if the policy permits).
