There has been a change of supplier for the 2025 Memoirs of Vietnam tour, moving from ITS to Threelands. There is also a change to the touring route as follows:
ORIGINAL ITINERARY
Travel from Halong Bay to Hanoi and fly to Hue
Two nights in Hue (at the Pilgrimage Village or similar)
Two nights in Hoi An (at the Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort or similar)
Fly Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
UPDATED ITINERARY
Travel from Halong Bay to Hanoi and fly to Danang
Three nights in Hoi An (at the Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort of similar)
One night in Hue (at the Melia Vinpearl Hue or similar)
Fly Hue to Ho Chi Minh City
IMPORTANT NOTE
Tipping will no longer be included in this tour.
We will be 'refunding' to guests the equivalent value, so they don't feel out of pocket.
The tip value will be $4USD per day of tour, but this is not disclosed in the email sent today, October 24. We will communicate this individually to people as the lengths of tours vary depending on extensions.
Tipping refund is not applicable for US store bookings, that never listed tipping as an inclusion.
If there are issues raised though in response to this issue, please feel free to move the tickets into Loren Mossiter's name, and she can delegate to the MEL team to address.
