For any requests to upgrade or downgrade the cruise cabin, customers must submit a FORM.
1. CS must use the template "CS Qns - Cruise / Rail - Upgrade/Downgrade request".
2. Cruise/rail upgrade/downgrades can only be requested 120 days+ before departure due to the complexities involved.
3. Cruise team will communicate directly with the customer, but replies will come to usual support@ address.
Update as of 5/5/25 - If they respond saying that they do not want to proceed with the quote, they do not need to fill in the form. MNL CS should respond to the guests acknowledging this and then tag (follow Step 4) the cruise agent against the cruise upgrade task in the deal to ensure they are aware the client does not want to proceed and get them to remove the upgrade request. The cruise agent will then remove the add-on and update anything else required.
4. CS team can then let Ops know via the original task created for the change request form, what action to take, while CS communicate with the customer.
Requests can still be submitted for review.
The Operations team will review the request and provide a quote.
Cruise upgrades cannot be added.
This timeframe does not apply to this add-on/request.
NOTE: Credits cannot be applied to IV cruise bookings. For credits issued previously without this condition explicitly stated, any escalations will be handled by MEL CS. However, the initial response should be a firm NO.
