Here are a few excellent organizations and resources that support sexual violence survivors and victims.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available for anyone experiencing domestic violence, seeking resources or information, or questioning unhealthy aspects of their relationship.They are available 24 hours a day for 7 days a week for phone calls or online chat. Hotline: (800) 799-7233

RAINN

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, works with sexual assault service providers across the country, carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensures that perpetrators are brought to justice. They are available to call 24 hours a day for all 7 days of the week.

Laura's House

Laura's House is a domestic violence shelter in Orange County. They've helped provide services to the 915,000 residents in Orange Country and helped more than 5,000 abused women, men and children. They also provide 24/7 hour hotline, counseling, life skill educations, workshops, and legalserices for thousands of people.

Women Aware & Prepared

Women Aware and Prepared is a website (and Instagram page: @womenawareandprepared) featuring the work of Mandi Pratt, a Self Defense Teacher, Speaker, Author, and Advocate. She offers helpful safety courses that cover self-dense tips and strategies, as well as an ebook that entails the nuts and bolts of using self-defense tools. SAVS WaymakersOC

A partner of IUSD WRA, SAVS WaymakersOC is the Sexual Assault Victim Services program at WaymakersOC, a nonprofit resource building safer communities by helping people find their way. On their website, there are resources such as the Victim Bill of Rights (Marsy's Law), helpful hotlines (Human Trafficking and Rape Crisis hotlines), and victim assistance centers along with the contact information for each.

Human Options

Founded in 1981, Human Options is an organization dedicated to supporting victims of relationship violence, targeting women and children, and is located in Irvine, CA. Their Programs and Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelters, transitional housing, counseling/supportive services, legal advocacy services, and prevention & education programs, and more.
