Information literacy

Information literacy is the ability to find, evaluate, organize, use and communicate information in all its various formats, mostly notably in situations requiring decision making, problem solving or the acquisition of knowledge (skylinecolledge, n.d.).

Information literacy outcomes:

• At the end of the day a learner will have research strategies.

• Be able to make informed choices about credible and relevant information.

• Proactively engage with diverse ideas.

• Develop and demonstrate scholarly identity by generating meaning.
