Overview:

Eduroam enables you to use your Centre College account to obtain free wireless access to the internet at participating institutions around the world. Students and colleagues from participating institutions can enjoy the same benefit when visiting Centre College.

Eduroam wireless access is available at more than 1,000 institutions within the US and thousands more around the world.

The best way to configure your Windows device to access Eduroam is to use the Eduroam Certificate Installer.

Installation instructions (images below)

Go to https://cat.eduroam.org/?idp=6504 and click the blue eduroam button to download the installer
From your desktop, locate the downloaded eduroam installer
Right-click the Download and select Run as administrator
Click Yes to allow the eduroam app to install
Click Next on the installer
You will get a warning that the installer will only work if you have a current Centre College account. Click the OK button to continue
Enter your username in the following format: your.name@centre.edu and enter your password. Click the install button
Installation is completed, lick the Finish button

Step 3: Right-click and Select Run as administrator

Step 4: Click Yes to install eduroam

Step 5: Click Next on the installer

Step 6: Warning message that this will only install on your current Centre College account

Step 7: Entering your Centre credentials

Step 8: Installation is complete

Note:

If you are on campus when you complete these steps, you should be connected to the wireless SSID “eduroam”.

If you are off campus you will automatically connect to “eduroam” the next time you are on Centre’s campus or another campus that provides the Eduroam service.

Troubleshooting

After following the above instructions, if you still experience your connection to eduroam is unstable or you cannot get connected, we recommend trying to use the geteduroam app and follow the instructions on their page. If you continue to experience issues, please enter a helpdesk ticket by emailing helpdesk@centre.edu.
