This course was created to help psychology students studying the practical aspects of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in psychological practice. The use of computer technologies and ICT is becoming increasingly widespread in research practice – both in connection with the creation of computer versions of diagnostic tools (allowing for large-scale research, speeding up the procedure of individual diagnosis, etc.), and in connection with increased requirements for the level of psychological research in general.
ICT & Media Literacy in Psychology is a one-semester course for the bachelor’s program students who major in Psychology. The course is taught (delivered) in English.
This course has been created to help psychology students studying the practical aspects of IT-technologies using in practical psychology. For the theory itself there are no pre-requisites except for an aptitude for logical reasoning. However, many examples will reference concepts from "Introduction to the Profession", "Psych diagnostics", "Mathematical Statistics", "Computer Methods in Psych diagnostics", "Mathematical Methods in Psychology".
The course focuses on practice, but not theory.

Our course contains the following sections:
The section "Goals & Objectives" contains the goals, objectives and methodological map of the course.
The "Vocabulary" section includes the basic terms and concepts of the course.
The "References" section contains a list of the main and additional literature on the course program, as well as links to scientific electronic libraries, library systems, publishing houses and platforms.
The section "Progress Table" includes the results of students mastering the course program with links to completed practical tasks.
The section "Practical Tasks" contains methodological materials for practical work, including tasks for independent work of students.
In the "Teacher Contacts" section the contacts of the course author are indicated.
