Crosby Park is a six-hectare pine forest located in Barangay Virac, Itogon. Situated at 1,150 meters above sea level rendering a captivating view of mountain ranges, rolling hills, deep valleys, and gorges with a brisk pure aura. Surrounded by pine trees and lush vegetation that perfectly suits leisurely walks, photo-ops, and other nature-based activities like hiking.
There are available cottages in the area, ideally for picnics. Kiddie obstacles such as a monkey bar, a wooden two-walled ramp, tires set up in two columns on the ground, and a low rope course, to name a few, are dotted in the area as well. Afar from the city noise and pollution, the park is known for its serene and calming environment providing a perfect ambiance for meditation. Furthermore, the park also serves as a campsite where you can stay overnight. There are available cottages in the area, or you can also pitch a tent on the open grounds.
Apart from these, the Balatoc Mines (temporary closed), a former tourist destination, is just a walking distance from the area. It was once a hub of mining activities in the Municipality. Serves as the oldest mine in the province and the country as a whole. In 1997, the place opened to the public, and since then offered a hands-on opportunity for guests to experience becoming a miner for a day.
