First Time in Europe!
The Rick Steves Heart of Italy tour was our first ever tour to Italy, and Europe in general. We choose Heart of Italy in 9 days tour because we’d like to experience both big city vibes (Rome and Florence) and small town charms (Volterra, Cinque Terre). The trip was wonderful. It was a fantastic introduction to all Italy has to offer. The food, the people, the atmosphere was so incredible. Rick Steves' tour guide and staff did an awesome job making sure we get the full experience.
Who are us
Hi, we're Mattise, Stanley, Wesley and Terri from Sammamish, Washington. It has been our dream to visit Italy. After years of researching and planning, we finally decided to take Rick Steves' tour in summer 2023.
Travel foreign, eat local, feel the culture
Walking on the ancient streets, it feels like I'm inside a beautiful history book. Let's see where those streets take me to.
Italian food. Do I need to say more? Pasta, pizza, gelato, Florence steak, Tuscany wine...never enough.
Two thousands years of history from Rome age to Renaissance. Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, so many masterpieces.
Our tour guide Marianna is wonderful. Without her, we wouldn't have had such an amazing experience in Italy.
