Upcoming Projects
It All Starts in the Classroom has been working on creating a short film focused on analyzing the relationship between sustainability in education and politics. Throughout the summer, we have interviewed an array of experts on these issues, furthering our own knowledge as a local organization on the demanding topics that lay ahead. By the end of 2022, we will officially publish our short documentary on Youtube, Instagram, and our website.
We are very excited to share this project and cannot wait to put it together!

Guardians Of the Earth
It All Starts in the Classroom (IASC) and another teen organization called The Valley Changemakers (VCM) have created a one day workshop focused on teaching elementary school students about the different types of pollution and how we can combat them.
During this workshop, we will be giving short presentations about environmental pollution while also engaging with the students through fun and interesting crafts and experiments.
Our workshop hopes to encourage our future leaders to gain experience tackling environmental issues and to understand why they are so demanding.
The Origami Project
It All Starts in the Classroom (IASC) has created a one day workshop teaching elementary school students the power of recycling. Our goal is to teach sustainable methods of living from a young age, promoting a more sustainable lifestyle!
During this workshop, we will first give a short presentation on the power of recycling, then will ask them to take old pieces of paper and create origami art.
Through this workshop, we hope to encourage young students to learn sustainable methods at home. IASC's goal is to educate young students from the start on the pressing topic of climate change.
