International Student Union
In the fall of 2018, I-Shou University International Student Union (ISUISU) was formally founded. Membership is offered to all students taking up any program within I-Shou University. ISUISU’s role is vital to the whole student body that acts as the “United Nations” of the university. The students joining the organization are all comprised of volunteers spending their time and effort to achieve the goal of equal and quality service to all the students in the university.
In order to enrich international vision and enhance intercultural value, ISUISU organizes activities to introduce cultures through food, apparel, crafts, & folk games; through movies, documentaries & photography; through performances; and even through sports.
In only a few years, this organization has grown exponentially, with more than 40 International Student Representatives and an Executive Board that oversees ISUISU.

ISU Culture Festival
To summarize it in a single sentence, ISU Cultural Festival is the biggest annual event for our international students where they get the chance to exchange their cultures and languages from different countries all over the world. I-Shou University has been the home to many international students from different countries and the Cultural Festival is their time to show the world their unique cultures, beliefs, food, and traditions. We believe that academic studies aren't the only thing an international student can get when studying abroad. Expanding connections is also a very great chance that international students don't want to miss. Therefore, the Cultural Festival is the perfect moment for students to get to know people not only from their home country but from other countries that they might haven't even heard the name of! Last but not least, the ISU Cultural Festival is also the time for our current students to show off their talents & skills. Make sure you don't miss this year's Cultural Festival and see you there!

International Student Representative
I-Shou University currently has 1,500 students coming from more than 40 countries all over the world. In order to gather feedback and stay connected with students with various cultural backgrounds, international student representatives (ISR) from each country/region are invited to meet with school administrators once every month. Back in 2016, ISUISU initially had only 13 active international student representatives who sought to voice the diverse student community. "Taiwan student representative " has since the very beginning a crucial member in this in order to diminish segregation. ISR members from previous school years were recruited as Advisory members to continue serving this ever-growing family; Prospective ISR members were also recruited as Deputy Representatives as they could take time to observe how the organization operates.
Nowadays ISR members are actively involved in organizing campus events, and providing assistance to their peer students. They further found International Student Union (ISUISU) to promote fellowship, unity, mutual assistance, and brotherhood among ISU students.
To chat with them, sign up to Unibuddy here.

Bylaws
The ISUISU Bylaws are the fundamental principles and values of what our organization is all about. In order to maintain regulation within the organization, the Bylaws constitute the specific rules and standards needed to be upheld by all members relevant.
Monthly Meeting
On the last Wednesday of every month during the academic year, the ISUISU holds a Monthly Meeting to update on the status of the Union. Though attendance from ISR's is usually mandated, this is a meeting open to all of our students! Not only do we discuss the latest updates from the university, but it also is a networking time for students to meet and chat with those they don't normally get the chance to talk with. Once every 3 months, ISUISU also invites all students who recently had/will have a birthday to join and be celebrated with a birthday cake and snacks! In order to be transparent and maintain clear channels of communication, Meeting Minutes are taken so that all members who wish to be updated with the latest happenings are able to do so with no hassle.
