WONDERING HOW TO TREAT SIM SWAP REQUEST ON A PRE-REGISTERED LINE?
Yes! What Should I do? MyCustomer® has been using the line for a longtime, but it is a Pre-registered Line.
Based on NCC directive, Customers who purchase Pre-registered lines are not eligible for SIM Replacements.
• The SIM Registration details of the line, would not tally with details presented for SIM Swap, including the
Live customer image to be captured for SIM Swap.
• Affidavits sworn as proof of ownership cannot be used to perform SIM Swap request on such lines (pre-registered)

However, Let us educate MyCustomer® on the dangers of buying Pre-registered lines and offer to sell or give a free SIM/line (where it is possible).
