As you are all aware, the past few months has exceptionally been a trying time for a lot of organisations, countries around the globe, Nigeria and by extension Kwara state.
Since the spread of Covid-19 across the state. ISON has been and is still managing the wellbeing of her employees during this pandemic, while also ensuring that we keep our Jobs in an era where so many organizations have been hit as a result of the pandemic. We have ensured that all the Processes are being followed for any symptom related to Covid19 noticed or reported in our Ilorin Office here. This is to ensure that our safety and wellbeing of health is not being compromised. In the last few months and days,
· We have taken steps such as further decongestion of the call centre, owing to the total count of employees working from home to over (300) three hundred with more to go.
· We have distributed clinical nose masks to all employees and have advised that we all get spare ones to add and keep personal hand sanitizers.
· We have installed automated wash dispensers at the office entrance, and have commenced online engagement of employees working from home to reduce the number of employees visiting the office.
· We have been proactive to decontaminate and disinfect our call centre and the same will be repeated after the expiration of the recent one done.
· We have ensured that all employees suspected of the COVID19 virus are guided through the process of testing and also given support to those on self-isolations.
To this end we want to implore every employee of ISON in Ilorin to play their part as well. As the safety of all is the responsibility of all.
Some of the things you can do as an employee are:
I. Maintain social distancing at all times
II. Be slow to attend crowded gatherings or events where social distancing is not applied.
III. Follow all laid down protocols of WHO at the office
IV. Use your nose mask at all times and practice constant washing of hands.
V. If you have malaria, please treat it immediately, and if you feel uncomfortable with any minor or major symptoms please contact the HR department immediately.
We urge everyone to take responsibility by keeping safe and report any suspicious symptoms you have to the HR department first before any further escalation.
