In line with our values to make our customers' life a whole lot brighter, we are pleased to inform you that we will be launching a new feature, Pop-Up USSD menu for new customers, effective October 30, 2017.
The Pop-Up Menu is a feature that allows new customers select a tariff plan of choice after registering and activating their new number.
Once a customer selects a plan, s/he will be migrated to the plan but if the customer fails to select a plan or the menu times out, the customer will be automatically migrated to the default plan, MTN Yafun Yafun.
Q. What is MTN Pop-Up Menu?

Q. What are the benefits of the MTN Pop -Up Menu?
A. The benefits of the MTN Pop-Up Menu are to:
Inform customers about the different tariff plans that are available
Offers the customer the opportunity to select a tariff plan that suits his/her lifestyle
Q. How does it work?
A. First, buy a new SIM and register it.
After the registration has been completed successfully, you will receive an SMS on the successful registration.
You will also receive an email confirming your registration, only if you provided your email during your SIM registration.
Afterwards, you will then receive a pop-up USSD menu to choose your preferred tariff plan from the list below.
1. Yafun Yafun
2. Beta Talk
3. Pulse
4. Xtra Special
5. Business / SME Plans.
Once you choose a plan, you will be migrated to that plan. But if you fail to select a plan or the menu times out, you will be migrated to the default plan, Yafun Yafun automatically.
Q. Will I be able to view detai ls of the tar i f f plan before migrat ing to the plan?
A. Yes, once you select a tariff plan of your choice, the details
of the tariff plan will be displayed after which you will be
required to go ahead with the migration or go back to
select another plan.
Q. Will I be able to change my tar i f f plan after migrat ing to a tar i f f plan?
A. Yes, you will be able to change your tariff plan after migrating to a plan. Simply dial *123*2# and select another plan.
Q. How do I confirm that I have been migrated to a plan?
A. Once you have been migrated to a plan, you will receive a successful message confirming your migration to the plan.
Q. I cancelled the MTN Pop-Up Menu in error what do I do?
A. Not to worry, if you do not select a tariff plan, you will be automatically migrated to the default plan; MTN Yafun Yafun but you will be able to change your plan by dialing *123*2#.
