MTN XtraValue Bundle plan allows you buy a bundle that gives you a combination of huge airtime for voice calls and unbelievable volume of Data to go with it. The Bundles are available in 2 categories and at different price points from N300 to N20, 000.
XtraTalk Bundles – Offers more airtime for Voice calls than Data volume
XtraData Bundles – Offers more volume of Data than airtime for voice calls
You will be able to check your XtraValue Bundle balance by dialing *556# or *559*61#.
To subscribe to a bundle plan, dial *131*2# and select the preferred bundle type.
Q. What happens if my bundle is exhausted and do not renew it?
A. Once you exhaust your bundle and you do not renew it, your calls, SMS or data will be deducted from your main account at the tariff plan rate. Your National calls will be charged at 20.48k/sec (N12.288/min), standard International call rate and National SMS at N4.10. But as soon as you recharge up to the bundle fee, your bundle will be renewed automatically and calls charged at the normal XtraValue bundle rate.
You can check your main account balance, XtraValue bundle balance and bundle expiry by dialling the code *556# or dial *123*2# and choose option 4 to buy any of the bundles to migrate. Note that prepaid customers will be migrated to the xtravalue plan upon subscribing
Please be informed that a new intelligent feature has been added to XtraValue bundle purchase process, called Purchase Reminder.
1. What: When a customer’s airtime balance is less than the intended XtraValue bundle he/she wants to purchase, the transaction fails and ends there.
2. What changed: With this new intelligent feature, instead of the failed transaction ending there, there is a purchase reminder prompt that is activated when the customer’s main recharge account has more airtime sufficient to purchase the bundle that failed.
3. How does it work:
A. A Customer attempts to buy XtraValue 500, with an airtime balance of N200. The transaction will fail because of insufficient airtime.
B. When the customer recharges airtime that makes the customer’s airtime balance more than N500, the purchase reminder prompt will be triggered reminding the customer to complete the pending transaction.
C. The customer can purchase the bundle he/she attempted to buy, decide to buy a different bundle or cancel the purchase reminder
The customer can choose to buy the bundle he/she had attempted to buy when the purchase reminder prompt comes up or cancel the purchase reminder by pressing cancel on the purchase reminder menu or by not taking any action.

2.XtraTalk gives you more talk time while XtraData gives you more data volume.

9. MyCustomer can now enjoy 30 days validity when they activate the XtraValue bundle of N1000 (Xtravoice or XtraData).
10.MyCustomers on MTN XtraValue now have the access to choose either One-off or Recurrent (Autorenewal) option.
MyCustomer who chose the One-off option upon activation but wishes to auto renew his/her plan can opt into Recurrent option or renew their bundle by sending R + bundle keyword to 131. Example: if a customer has an active XtraData300 that is on One-off option, he/s will be able to auto renew it by sending RD300 to 131.
