MTN Keep My Number is a special service that allows MTN prepaid customers to retain their numbers in the event that they travel out of the country or stay inactive/dormant on the MTN Network for more than 180 days.
MTN Keep My Number service has been reviewed to reflect the new changes resulting from the recent VAT increase of 7.5%.
NOTE:
* MyCustomer who is already barred due to SIM Registration cannot activate Keep My Number.
* MyCustomer who has not linked his/her NIN cannot activate Keep My Number.
* Multiple activation of KMN service is not allowed.
* Auto-renewal service is available to allow service renew after expiration once MyCustomer has sufficient credit on the line.

Q. Who can subscribe for MTN Keep My Number?
A. Not all service class are eligible for Keep My Number Service activation. Kindly see table below for list of eligible service class when activating Keep My Number services.
Q. How can KMN be activated?
A. KMN Service can be activated via CLM or USSD or SMS on eligible service class.
Q. Are multiple activation of KMN Service allowed?
A. Multiple activation of KMN service is not allowed.
Q. Can I autorenew my subscription?
A. Auto-renewal service is available to allow service renew after expiration once Customer is having sufficient credit on his line.
Q. Why should I subscribe to the MTN Keep My Number service?
To avoid your MTN number being disconnected or re-cycled.
To save you the cost of reprinting business cards and updating websites when your number gets disconnected and recycled.
You will have your number reserved irrespective of how long you stay out of the Country.
You get to avoid high roaming charges while trying to keep your SIM active.
In the event that your subscription expires and you do not re-subscribe again, your number will be disconnected and re-cycled.
Q. How many times can I re-subscribe for the MTN Keep My Number service?
A. You can re-subscribe for the MTN Keep My Number service once in every 365days.
Q. If I am an MTN Postpaid customer, can I subscribe to MTN Keep My Number service?
A. No, MTN Postpaid customers CANNOT subscribe to the MTN Keep My Number service.
Q. Can I enjoy all MTN products and services while I am on MTN Keep My Number?
A. Yes, you will be able to enjoy all of MTNN’s products and services
Q. Will I be notified once my number is placed on the MTN Keep My Number list?
A. Yes, you will receive a notification message once you successfully subscribe to the service.
Q. What happens if after 365 days of being on the Keep My Number list I don’t renew my service?
A. Your number will be taken off the MTN Keep My Number list and disconnected from the network.
Q. Will I get a reminder message before the expiry of my Keep My Number service?
A. Yes you will get a reminder notification message every quarter.
