MTN HyConnect is MTN’s fixed line Internet and voice service. It delivers ultra high quality weatherproof broadband Internet and voice service that can be used simultaneously. It provides a cost effective and seamless communication for businesses. MTN HyConnect rides on MTN fixed network infrastructure (copper and optical fiber).
MTN HyConnect service offers broadband Internet speed as high as 2Mbps. MTN HyConnect service is currently available to some selected parts of Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Calabar and Aba.

1 HyConnectClassic: This is our broadband internet offering designed for the home and SOHO customer.
· It provides ADSL based internet speeds up to 1024 Kbps over a copper based ATM network.
· The service is shared with a contention ratio of 1:40
· It replaces the HyConnect Single offer previously sold
· It comes in the following configurations and offer price
The plans indicate the download speed. The corresponding upload speeds are 128, 128, 128 & 256 Kbps respectively. All other service plans have been retired. These include the Single, Estate & Bundle offers
Note : These prices are applicable to new customers only Existing customers of 1Mbps bandwidth and below are currently being upgraded a bandwidth grade higher
2. HyConnect Premium : This is specifically designed for the business customer, hospitality services and internet service providers. It is an enhancement of the Classic offer.
· HyConnect premium offers low contention speeds (1:10 ratio) from 512Kbps .

3. HyConnect Advantage : This is the dedicated internet offering specifically designed for the large enterprise, educational institutions and the service provider.
· It is provided at a 1:1 contention ( This contention is up to MTNN internet PoP)

· The service comes with 6 internet IP addresses and will be delivered over the IP/MPLS core

FAQ’S ON HYCONNECT BROADBAND INTERNET SERVICE (ADSL)
1 .What is Hyconnect broadband Internet service?
Ans: A high capacity bi-directional communication connection to the internet using Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL). These links bring you a range of fully secured and scalable broadband solution. It provides a much faster speed than the usual dial up connection and subscribers can be on the phone and internet at the same time.
2. Do I pay access charges?
Ans: - Yes. MyCustomers will be be required to pay an access charge of NGN1,050 (VAT Inclusive) plus the usage for the monthy on both Prepaid and Postpaid
3. What is the billing circle?
Ans. The billing circle is from the 1st day of the moth to the last day. We also have payments plan of monthly, quarterly, bi- annually and annually as indicated by the customer.
4 What happens if I decide not to use the service for some time?
Ans. MyCcustomer is expected to call our helpdesk or send us emails to suspend service
5. After the expiration of the billing circle, how many grace days do I have to pay?
Ans: for the post paid option, MyCustomer is giving 21days grace to make payment or service would be suspended
6. Who are our Target Customers?
Ans: All customers
7. How long does the installation service take?
Ans: It takes a minimum of 5-7 days from when your request is received
8. Do I need to do any configuration?
Ans: All installations are done by the technical engineers.
9. How do I pay my bills?
Ans: Payment can be made in the designated banks. You can also pay at any of our Service centres in the city where you reside or use our IVR option.
10. How long will it take for my payment to reflect in my account?
Ans: This happens almost immediately if you pay by cash. But where payment is via cheque, it takes 2 -3 days for the bank to confirm cheques and payment reflects about immediately.
11. Is the landline and internet charged as a bundle?
Ans: Internet is charged based on bandwidth with a fixed monthly fee while the landline is charged per usage in addition to the access charge.
12. When customers have issue with their account Reconciliation, who can they reach?
Ans: Customers are advised to contact our helpdesks via phone or e-mail.
13. What happens if I decide not to use the service for some time?
Ans. My customer is expected to call 216 Helpdesk or send a letter to customer care requesting for their service to be placed on suspension in other not to generate invoice, pending when the customer would request for the service to be reactivated.
14. How do I use the IVR to check balance/recharge my account?
