Please be informed that in line with the NCC regulations on dormant/inactive lines, MTN will recycle prepaid lines after 360 days and Consumer lines after 540 days of inactivity.

Prior to this exercise, lines are deactivated at 180 days and 270 days of inactivity respectively. During the deactivated period (i.e. (180 – 360days) Prepaid and (270 -540 days) Consumer) customers can recharge and perform a qualifying revenue generating activity to reactivate line.

Lines exempted from this exercise includes:

1. Reserved Sims (Keep My Number)

2. Ported in/out MSISDN’s

3. Group Data Share (GDS) MSISDN’s

4. Corporate GSM lines

5. Selected VIP numbers
