Blaast is a cloud based service that compresses the amount of data a customer needs at any point in time and therefore makes it possible for feature phones to

It runs on 2G networks and its data-friendly bandwidth brings a robust and fast app experience to over 2000 mobile phone type/models including feature phones and low end smartphones.

WHAT TYPE OF PHONES CAN ACCESS AND ENJOY BLAAST?

Blaast works on most phones. Almost all Nokia and Samsung phones are supported as well as Andriod OS phones. However Blaast is ideally an app for feature phone users to be able to access all their favorite apps that are usually available on high end Andriod and iPhones. Blaast can even run on Chinese branded phones such as Tecno. The most important thing is the mobile phone must have Java MIDP 2.0 in order to use Blaast.

HOW CAN I USE BLAAST MESSENGER?

• Select and click ‘Messenger’. If this is your first time, specify a nickname.

• There are two tabs: ‘Contact’ and ‘Chats’; where all chats old and new can be seen

• In ‘Contacts’ you can search for your friends who use Blaast by entering their username or through your phone address book

• You can add new contact By selecting ‘>> Add new contact <<’ or click ‘Option’ button at the bottom of the screen then select ‘Add Contact’ and enter their name

• In ‘Chats’ screen, you can see your earlier messages from your friends

• If Blaast is closed, it will automatically save the earlier messages and also the new messages

• When you return to Blaast, you can re-read incoming messages.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD BLAAST ?

• To change username, go to your profile in Blaast.

• Select menu in the top of the screen, then change ‘Username’ according to what you want, then select ‘>> Save <<’

• To change password, select ‘Menu’ in the left bottom side of the screen

• Then select ‘Change Password’; enter your current password

• You will be prompted to enter your new password

• Afterward, enter the new password in ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm password’

HOW CAN I USE FACEBOOK ON BLAAST ?

• Start by Selecting ‘Facebook’ on the dashboard, it will display ‘Connect with Facebook’ then you select ‘Connect’

• There 2 options presented to connect to Facebook: ‘connecting using a phone’ and ‘connecting using a computer’. Select connect using a phone if you want to connect to Facebook using Blaast directly

• If you are being asked ‘Do you want to go to the web address?’, select ‘Yes’

• If there’s information ‘Connection is not secured. Continue?’, select ‘Yes’ to continue

• And then enter your email address and password, afterward select ‘Login’

I STILL CAN’T CONNECT WITH FACEBOOK FROM BLAAST. IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTION TO DO IT ?

Open a web browser from your phone or from your computer and go to login.blaast.com

There will be a web page with “CONNECT WITH FACEBOOK” title. Click the “Login with Facebook” button

If there is a warning, just click the “Yes” button. It’s just a false alarm.

Enter your Facebook email address and password. Click “Log In” button when you are finished

After you successfully login to Facebook, there will be a PIN number beside the “Enter following PIN” text. The PIN is composed of 5 digit numbers

Remember and take note of the PIN.

Open Blaast application in your phone and select “Connect with Facebook” on the home screen.

Select the “Connect using computer” button to connect your Blaast account with Facebook

Insert the PIN number that you received before in the text field

Select “Done” button when you are finished inserting the PIN

Please note that the generated PIN is only available for 4 hours. So, please immediately connect your Blaast account with Facebook using the PIN once you got it.

DOES MY MOBILE PHONE’S PERFORMANCE REDUCE AFTER INSTALLING BLAAST ?

Using Blaast will not affect your phone performance because Blaast uses very little data and is light on phone memory.
