MTN Nigeria and Diamond Bank Plc in partnership with NIBSS & other Nigerian Banks have introduced a new financial retail payment service called mCASH.

mCASH is the fast, easy & safe way to make and receive payments for goods and services from bank customers. must be linked to BVN for both customer and Merchant.

The customer must use the same phone number used in opening the account and the bank account.

Currently, the USSD based service is available across Telco's and major banks in the country .

Note that all Bank accounts must be linked to BVN to work successfully.

The customer simply needs to have a mobile phone and use any of his bank accounts linked to his mobile phone to make purchases at merchant's outlet.

• Step 1: Customer selects goods or services at merchant shop

• Step 2: Customer Dials *402* Sellers Code*Amount#

• Step 3: Electronic SMS notification is sent to both customer & merchant.
