Please be informed that as part of efforts drive awareness and usage for Ayoba messaging App during this prevailing COVID 19 movement restrictions. We will be expected to educate MyCustomer® on Ayoba messaging App and the features available to them:

How do I get started ( Download & Register) ?
Visit the Ayoba website, www.ayoba.me click on the link and install the App on your device or download the App from Google Play Store
Once you have downloaded to you would be required to register the following details:
Name
Choose your country from the drop down ( this will auto fill your country code)
Enter your phone number
Tap verify to request a 4 digit code
Enter the 4 digit code received via SMS
Ayoba is an Instant Messaging App available on Android devices which allow customers to chat with anyone regardless of whether they have the Ayoba App or not.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE AYOBA APP
Visit the Ayoba website, click on the link and install App on mobile device.
Go to Google App store, open the play store, search for Ayoba instant messaging and download Ayoba app on mobile device.
ACTIVATION/REGISTRATION ON AYOBA
MyCustomer should follow the steps below after downloading the Ayoba App to activate:
Enter your name
Choose your country from the drop-down list. This will automatically fill the country code.
Enter the phone number in the box
Tap verify to request for a code
Enter the 4-digit code received via SMS.
TIPS ON AYOBA MESSAGING APP
Ø MyCustomer will enjoy free access to COVID 19 updates, Ayoba games and Ayoba News on the Ayoba App.
Ø MyCustomer will enjoy 20MB free data daily.
Ø In order to get the latest features and functionality, MyCustomer can do either of the two below:
Visit the google play store, select my apps and select update for Ayoba.
Delete the app from the device, visit Ayoba.me/download and download the latest version of the app directly from the website.
Ø To locate channels on the Ayoba App, MyCustomer can click on the top left menu bar and scroll down to the third option titled Channels.
Ø To subscribe to a channel, MyCustomer should click on the specific channels he/she wants and subscribe to the channel.
Ø To unsubscribe to a channel, MyCustomer should click on the top left of the menu bar and click on ’’unsubscribe’’.
Ø Making call within the Ayoba App does not use data. However, it uses available airtime on MyCustomer’s line charged as a standard voice call rate.
Ø MyCustomer can view text messages and files sent from an Ayoba user via Ayoba, even if he/she has not downloaded the Ayoba App.
Ø MTN customers will be able to respond to Ayoba SMS messages using SMS, even if they do not have the Ayoba App installed on their device.
Ø Non-MTN customers will receive messages from Ayoba as an SMS but will not be able to respond.
Ø If MyCustomer did not receive the OTP code after downloading the Ayoba app, he/she should wait for countdown timer to finish, then select SMS again.
