ISOECOL 2022 IN-PERSON PRESENTATIONS
(updated May 11)

  1. In-Person Oral presentations

In-person oral presentations are 20 minutes (pls allow for 3-5 min before the end for questions).
Session chairs will enforce the timing, so please practice your talk in advance.

Please save your oral presentation files as either .PPTX or .PDF format. The projector will be a 16:9 format daylight beamer, so it is possible to use widescreen format. We'll be using a Windows 10 PC with PowerPoint. Ensure that the AV person has your presentation at least 20 minutes before your session starts. We will also be using a clip-on microphone for audio projection. Presentations will be deleted after the meeting.

If you are creating your presentation on Mac/Linux, please ensure it looks as you intended when viewed on a Windows PC. We cannot guarantee that video clips will work, and we discourage their use unless you successfully test it onsite beforehand.

  1. In-Person Poster presentations

Poster sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. You can mount your poster to the numbered board at the venue in the morning. It may be useful to bring A4/Letter poster handouts to give to interested persons.

We cannot provide onsite poster printing or photocopying.

Posters should be printed as A0 Portrait (Width x Height = 841 x 1189 mm; 33.1 x 46.8 inches). Please do not print your poster in landscape mode as you will not be able to properly mount it.

All poster sessions will feature exhibitor sponsored finger food and drinks to facilitate good social interaction and lively discussions.

Poster sessions will be kept online for 2 weeks. There is no limit on the number or posters we can host. Questions to poster presenters will be done via public or private chat, online comments, or by email offline with the presenter. Two formats are available: a static poster or a 3-minute video poster presentation.
