Ibn Sina National College Research and Innovation Center (ISNC-RICr)
Strives to “facilitate the institutional research process and encourage the staff and students participate in original research activities.”
ISNC-RICr provides support to ISNC’s research community in conducting all types of research in the field of health sciences namely; Biomedical, Clinical (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing), Medical/Dental education and Public Health. The respective program research teams focus on research areas identified by the program. on data protection requirements.
Research and Innovation center, its committees (Research and Innovation Committee, Institutional Research Review Board) and the teams (Research and Innovation Support Team) support staff and students in determining what the research governance requirements are applicable to their research projects and how further support can be accessed where it is required.

Role and Functions of ISNC-RICr
Work as the centralized unit for all research activities of the institution
It is run by the director of research center with the members of research centers executive team (comprising members from different programs’) will govern the day-to-day activities of research at the institution level and report to the Dean of the institution.
Plan and conduct day-to-day research governance activities of the institution.
Implement and monitor the operational plan of institutional research strategic plan.
Recommend annual budget to make research strategic plan operational.
Receive and process research project approval, registration, and monitoring.
Register (internal/external) research projects conducted in the institution.
Organize and conduct institutional review board meetings.
Collect, organize and archive the institution’s research and scholarly activity data.
Appraise and report the institution’s research activities to the research committee and the faculty board through an annual report.
Support the ad hoc committee to handle research misconduct.
Receive the request of external researchers and recommend the permission to conduct research.
Scrutinize potential research collaboration to make appropriate memorandum of understanding recommendations to the Dean.
Organize and conduct extra-curricular research courses.
Organize and conduct Ibn Sina National College-Annual Scientific Conference.
Annually audit the effective functioning of the different units (PRTs) related to the research center.
