Tiny hairs and juices in the plant make it impossible for the insect to get out. This plant is beneficial because it eats insects to lessen the amount of insects in the environment.
The Yellow Pitcher Plant also has some environmental impacts brought onto it brought on by the outside world. These plants are being destroyed from deforestation and human problems. Strangely enough, the Yellow Pitcher Plant is known to have human pouters. People will steal the plant and try to sell it on the internet. Because of this, numbers have lessen over the years. In some areas, the Yellow Pitcher Plants is protected. One of these areas included Carolina State Park in North Carolina. There area many ways that you can help protect the Yellow Pitcher Plant.
