Introduction

Shoal grass (Halodule wrightii) is a species of seagrass native to warm coastlines. Seagrass is an aquatic, underwater flowering plant. The plant has above ground shoots and flowers and below ground roots and rhizomes. Its presence of roots and rhizomes allow for nutrient uptake in the plant as well as stabilization in the ground.
