These are some of the dogs currently available through Island Dog Rescue. Listed first are the dogs in foster care in Virginia. To be eligible to meet any of our dogs, you must submit an adoption application and be approved. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters, as our fosters often decide to adopt our wonderful dogs. (What a great way to try a dog and see if it is a good fit!) For that reason, fosters need to fill out the same application as adopters. Please submit an application to become a foster or adopter today.
