Meet Ishmael Nicholson: Belize's First Children's Parliament

"Ishmael Camryn Nicholson is a child activist from Belize and the first Governor General of the Belize Children's Parliament. Appointed in 2021, he represents Belize from Dangriga Town and is committed to promoting children's rights and youth leadership. As the CYPAN Belize country coordinator, he is actively working to create and maintain relationships with foreign dignitaries and countries."

As Country Coordinator of the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (CYPAN) Belize, I led my team to increase the promotion of peace in Belize.

I hold an associates from a top junior college and continue to teach and mentor students. Currently enrolled in my Bachelors program.
