ISCOM 2024 will take place at the Captain Cook Hotel, in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska.
Anchorage is a beautiful town situated directly on the Gulf of Alaska with easy access to the Kenai Peninsula as well as northern parks such as Denali. There are numerous nearby state parks for hiking and rivers for fishing, and coastal cruises leave directly from the port. Light plane trips to see the Kodiak bears or those hunting salmon in the Brooks river during fat bear week are available as well. The Captain Cook Hotel in Anchorage is an ideal setting for discussing science with colleagues and enjoying the fresh mountain air. An excursion to the Kenai Fiords National Park and dinner at the Anchorage Museum are planned, so we encourage you to bring your family and enjoy the surroundings. Many airlines fly directly into Anchorage for straightforward international connections.
