ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION/ BACKGROUND
I know that the earth is made up of layers and has specific elements within its atmosphere that allow us to create and have a sustainable life here. Though I have knowledge about the processes of the earth from previous education, I am not knowledgeable about this at the present time.
GOALS
My realistic expectations/goal for myself in this class would be to give it my all, not to give up on myself. I would like to stay on top of my school and work load equally. Time management is extremely necessary for my life, it’s important I give myself the time to do that without stressing myself out.
METHODS
I began writing down my schedule for the week on my whiteboard calendar that I have right next to my bed. I like to prepare my board in advance so I know what I have to mentally get ready for during that week by just looking beside me. SiSince my school schedule is already set, I first write down those times for the entire month.hen I try my finest stay on top and update my calendar as a new work schedule comes every week. For my work schedule I write in a different color. Next, I preset alarms on my phone for the times I need to be up to make it to school on time and with extra time if I manage, in order to get a good parking spot before class. Sometimes I try to give myself a little extra time to stop and get a light breakfast/coffee before class. When and if I get scheduled for work when I have school I text my coworkers and see who can switch/cover shifts for the week. Anything else I have that comes up like a birthday/holiday/ day off, I write in black ink. I try and keep my board as up to date as possible that way I know how to keep track of my days and where I’m at with my tasks.
(Preliminary) RESULTS
At the beginning of the month, I started off strong. I was up to date and on task and on time to school and work. I had been getting okay sleep and felt prepared as the days came. Unfortunately sometimes it’s not always easy, as the weeks started to go by I started slowly getting behind on assignments from being drained after 8 hr shifts. I tried to stay optimistic and calm but it seemed everything that could go wrong did/would. For example, I had misplaced my keys after running late to work and then I’d get stuck behind construction trucks. My managers have been being pains these past two weeks because we’ve been rushed. These few weeks caused me to wake up
