Aurora refers to the dawn of the new day, new hope, new era and progress. The essence of such a word is exemplified as the “Gateway to the Mallig Region” if one comes from the southern direction.
The town Aurora is composed of thirty three (33) barangays. It was originally a barrio of the municipality of Gamu called Dalig. It became a Municipal District on August 27, 1927.
Aurora is located on the Central Western part of the province. It is bounded by the municipality of San Manuel; on the east by the municipality of Burgos; on the west by the province of Ifugao, particularly the municipality of Alfonsolista; and on the south by the municipality of Cabatuan, Isabela.
It is accessible from three directions, through the national and provincial roads, either via Cabatuan, San Manuel or Burgos.
The creation of the municipality of Burgos, Isabela is a milestone of the residents residing at the western part of the municipality of Gamu, Isabela. This portion comprising the barrios (barangays) of Gamu, Isabela with a distance of more or less sixteen (16) km.
Burgos is one of the thirty four (34) municipalities and three (3) cities in the province of Isabela. It is situated in the mid-western part of Isabela. Burgos is located at geographical coordinates 17o08’30” lateral and 121o40’00” and 121o48’00” longitude. It is bounded on the north by the municipality of Quirino, on the east by the municipality of Gamu, on the southwest by the municipality of San Manuel and Aurora on the west by the Municipality of Roxas, on the south by the municipality of Luna.
Burgos is directly accessible from three (3) of the neighboring municipalities. From Gamu and Roxas, 11 and 13 kilometers away respectively, on the asphalt paved provincial road and from Aurora 16 kilometers on the graveled provincial road. It is approximately 25 kilometers south of Ilagan, the capital town and about seven and half hours trip from Manila.

Quezon is a 4th class landlocked municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 25,860 people in 5,874 households.
The municipality of Quezon is one of the 37 municipalities which comprise the province of Isabela. Situated in the northwestern part of the province, it is bounded on the north by the municipalities of Santa Maria and Cabangan, on the south by the municipality of Mallig on the east by the municipalities of Delfin Albano and Santo Tomas all within the province of Isabela; and on the west by the Tabuk City in the province of Kalinga. A landlocked municipality, its absolute location is between 121°32’ to 121°41’ longitude East and 17°14’ to 17°26’ latitude north. Its municipal center is located 17°18'42.90"N and 121°36'19.59"E.
Its main access is the Cagayan Valley National Highway that traverses in a general north-south direction virtually slicing the municipality lengthwise and connects it with other municipalities in Isabela. To the east lies a provincial road which links Quezon to the municipality of Santo Tomas, Isabela. Quezon is approximately 56 kilometers south of the Cagayan Valley regional center of Tuguegarao City, about 20 kilometers east of Tabuk City the provincial capital of Kalinga province; and about 403 kilometers north from Manila, the capital of the Philippines, with an average travel time of 8 to 9 hours by land.
Based from the data from the Municipal Assessors Office, Quezon occupies an area of 268.26 km² or about 2.52% of the total land area of Isabela, which is placed at 10,664.4 km². The figure was based on the actual tax mapping conducted by the said office. The same figure was also used for the old town plan of Quezon and was validated by a digital planimeter.
The municipality of Quirino, in the Province of Isabela, is a rich agricultural town in the Mallig plains. The town’s agricultural produce includes rice, fish and vegetables, which are considered as their staple foods. The town has vast agricultural purposes which are suited for rice, peanut, corn and tobacco production.
The municipality of Roxas is located in the Central part of Mallig Plains. It is bounded on the North by the town of Mallig, on the Northeast by Quirino, on the Southeast by San Manuel and on the West by Cordillera Region. It is about 40 kilometers away from the town of Ilagan, the capital town of the province. Roxas belongs to Second Congressional District of Isabela with 26 barangays and classified as second class municipality.
San Manuel lies in the central western part of the province of Isabela. It is bounded on the north by the municipality of Roxas, on the south by the municipality of Aurora, on the east by the municipality of Burgos, all in the province of Isaebla and stretched westward to the municipality of Parasilis and Potia (now Alfonsolista), Mountain Province.
