Past Projects

The Possibility of Colour - Northern tour of by Tree fish productions after a successful R&D. Due to funding restrictions I worked closely with the Director and Producer to create a technically stunning piece of work on an incredibly limited budget. I also co-designed the lighting.

The Kaspar Hauser Experiment - The first tour of the original work by Animikii Theatre. Working with a very small team I supported the designer to adapt a set that would be flexible across a range of venues, and developed the lighting design. A key focus of this work was creating accessibility throughout including audio descriptive dialogue and Closed Captions.

Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco - Unfortunately cancelled due to COVID, I was the technical and production manager for Only Lucky Dogs 4th production. This included the development of a technically heavy set and stage design incorporating puppetry. The lighting design and sound design was key to elevated the three cohesive monologues.

A Few Short Studies on Cannibalism - Only Lucky Dog's third original production. The complex set design incorporated building a studio flat inside the venue. This was then in the process of adaption for Fringe 2020 and a subsequent tour before being called off.

monster. - Written by Only Lucky Dogs Artistic Director but produced at the Drama Studio. This was the most technically ambitious production yet, with an entire house including functioning cellar and 3D original sound design incorporated to bring this Dark Play to life.

Beaker's Place - Only Lucky Dogs First Production, as Technical Director of the company I supported the show from conception through R&D through to a very successful month long run at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Spring Awakening - The first Musical Produced by Sheffield University Theatre company in over a decade. I was challenged to produce this Broadway show in an incredibly tight budget. This meant a focus on lighting design over set and adapting key set pieces in affordable ways.

The Twisted Fairytale - Technical Lead for this week long family friendly show at the Edinburgh fringe Festival.

Cambridge Literature Festival - I managed the stream for all the Palmerston Venue events across the winter festival 2022.

DINA Venue @ Sidney & Matilda- Installing, running and derigging a mixcloud stream for a series of live music events, including a separate stream for the venue increasing accessibility of their performance space.

Creating Knowledge Conference - Supported the live stream of the Creating Knowledge Conference 2022 at Hallam University including supporting the integration of remote guests.

The Makerspace Season - Streamed the 6 week season of plays and events at The Makerspace.

JUHS Hybrid Meeting Series - Developed and ran the live stremaing system set up for the bi-monthly hypbrid meetins.

Kaleider - I am a freelance technician for Kaleider, an internationally renowned production studio creating "playable artworks that invite audiences to think about the world". I have mostly supported them through installations of Robot selfie.

DINA - I have worked to support DINA an independent events venue in Sheffield as technical support at events and also in training staff through their recent event producers workshops

Theatre Deli - I am a freelance technician at Deli supporting incoming events in a variety of ways including, Sound Engineering, Lighting Design, Follow Spot operating and general technical maintenance.

Performance Venues - During the interim between finding a full time Technical Lead to support their venues I stepped in as a technician across their three venues, The Drama Studio, Firth Hall, and the Octogan. I worked in many different capacities on Live Music, Plays, Comedy gigs, Dance shows etc.

Canada Hub - I provided freelance technical support to Summer hall Canada Hub at the Edinburgh fringe festival. This included aiding incredibly quick show change overs, set installation and operating lights.

Migration Matters Festival - I have supported Migration Matters across three years of the Festivals in Sheffield adapting to short get in/outs at different venues and being invited to return each year.

The Montgomery Theatre - The Montgomery were without a Venue Manager for six months and during this time I took on the responsibility of Duty Managing all productions in the space and some of the venue manager responsibilities. This included technical support for shows, managing a team of four events assistants and maintenance of the building and improving the technical systems.

Portland Works - I am the Technical Director of Only Lucky Dogs and subsequently am the Venue Manager at Portland Works and Duty Manager during events. I was responsible for transforming the community space into a functioning multipurpose events venue. This included researching sourcing and installing a PA system, Lighting Rig, and Live Streaming capabilities. I also ran the initial six week season of work in Summer 2021.

The Drama Studio - Whilst working at Performance venues as a Technician I also took on Duty management shifts at the Drama Studio on of their venues.

Recipe For a Baby - I was the set designer for Belly Up's Debut show at Theatre Deli Sheffield. I worked with limited support and budget and around last minute changes from the production team, to produce a simple but effective kitchen set.

Pillowman - I worked as DSM to operate this production in early 2020 and due to the fast noticeable changes the work even received praise in the review for the "beautiful precision" of the cues.

Anatomy of Grey - I worked as the DSM and Technical officer on this production stepping in at the last minute to fill in a gap on the crew.

Robin Hood - Worked as DSM calling cues and supporting prop sourcing.

Hound of the Baskervilles - Worked as DSM calling cues and supporting prop sourcing.
