Alexandrea R. Golden, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Memphis. She earned her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology at the University of South Carolina and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Cleveland State University in the Center for Urban Education. Dr. Golden's scholarship focuses on the resilience and positive development of racially-minoritized youth who experinece racism with a focus on Black adolescents. Her work focuses on three interdiciplinary lines of research including (1) school racial climate, (2) peer racial socialization, and (3) critical consciousness. Dr. Golden is committed to empowering marginalized youth and amplifying thier voices and experiences through her transition and community-engagement research and practice.

From Franklin, TN, Hannah is a Clinical Psychology doctoral candidate at the U of M. Hannah's research examiines the intergenerational effects of violence on family functioning while considering multifaced pathways of resilience. She is particularly interested in community-based partcipatory approaches to identify and evaluate strategies, programs, and highlight culturally specific strenghts for families experiencing intimate partner violence.
Originally from the Chicago area, Anissa is a 4th year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program. Anissa is interested in examining how families navigate complex social, cultural, and developmental landscapes and how constellations of relational and contextual factors shape their social, emotional, and behavioral functioning, with a specific focus on historically marginalized populations.

Autumn, from Frederick, MD, is a 2nd year Clinical Psychology doctoral student. Autumn's reseach interest focuses on examining how parent-child race socialization acts as a protective factor against experiences of racism in youth. A secondary interest is exploring the impact of parental stress on parent-child race socialization and child mental health outcomes.
Born and raised in Memphis and have already enjoyed four years at the U of M, India is currently a MSGP student. During her undergrad years, she was a member of the wonderful Mighty Sound of the South and continues to be a member of Tau Beta Sigma. She is excited to continue her education at the U of M and reach her long-term goal of becoming a clinical psychologist.

Julia, originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil, is a 1st year Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at the U of M. Her research interest broadly focuses on experiences of racial and ethnic discrimination, mental health outcomes, resilience factors, and acculturation strategies of adolescents and emerging adults of the Black and Latine populations.
Olivia, or Livy, born and raised in Memphis, Livy is a senior Psychology undergraduate student with a minor in History at Rhodes College. Her research interests are broadly pediatric neuropsychology, underserved populations, assessments. Specifically how do certain neuro-developmental issues impact school performance/ neurocognitive outcomes.
