PHUONG DOAN '26

Phuong Doan is a Political Science major from Minnesota. On campus, he is part of the Debate Society and the Association of Amherst Students. Outside the classroom, he enjoys watching terrible rom coms. After Amherst College, Phuong is hoping to go to law school.

EPRHATA GETACHEW '25

Ephrata Getachew is a prospective Mathematics and Statistics double major. She is from Ethiopia and speaks English, Amharic, and Ge’ez. On campus, she is involved in the Quantitative Trading Club, Women’s Club Soccer, and Women in Computer Science. Outside the classroom, she enjoys going for walks and watching soccer games. After completing her studies at Amherst College, Ephrata plans to pursue a career as a Data Scientist and aims to pursue further education in graduate school.ate school.

CECI GRANDA-SCOTT '26

Cecilia Granda-Scott is a Political Science major pursuing the 5-College International Relations Certificate. She is a Cuban-American from Miami, FL and fluent in English and Spanish. On campus, she is the Captain of the Debate team and a member of the Law Review and club Waterpolo team. Post-Amherst, she plans to attend law school and wants to work in international business law. She is most interested in looking at international relations, specifically conflict, through a gendered lens. 

RHINE HAZRA '26

Rhine Hazra is an Economics and Statistics major pursuing the Five College Sustainability Studies certificate. On campus, she is on the Food Systems Committee, in the Economics Anti-Racist Advisory Group, and is a Dining Data fellow for the Office of Sustainability. After Amherst, Rhine hopes to work with sustainability assessment in the agri-food industry.

MACY LI '27

Macy is a political science and economics major from California. She is interested in studying international relations and global politics, as well as exploring solutions to educational inequality in the U.S. Beyond politics, she is passionate about creative writing and journalism. In her free time, she enjoys taking sunset pictures and listening to early 2010s pop music.

ELAINE PAN '27

Elaine is an economics and political science double major from southern California. She is specifically interested in analyzing the role of economic issues, power dynamics, and neocolonialism in international relations. After Amherst, she hopes to study international law. In her free time, Elaine enjoys exploring different genres of music, practicing piano in Arms, and coming up with new recipes in her rice cooker.

BISHAL PANTHI '27

Bishal is a prospective Economics and Mathematics major. He is from Nepal. He likes to go on hikes and adventures. He is actively involved in on-campus sporting activities like Badminton and Cricket. 

ARSHDEEP SINGH '26

Arshdeep Singh is a political science and prospective psychology major from San Diego. On campus, he is a member of the Debate team and Asian Students Association. After Amherst, Arshdeep hopes to attend law school and specialize in immigration and criminal law. In his free time, he likes to cook and workout. 

Angela TANG '26


Angela Tang is a prospective Political Science and Economics double major. She is fluent in Chinese and English, proficient in Latin, and planning on learning more languages. Angela is interested in international law, and the impact of music and culture on social movements. On campus, she is part of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys instrumental music and digital music production.

Regan Williams is a prospective Economics and Computer Science double major. At Amherst, she is a junior captain for the club soccer team and likes skating and baking in her free time. She's passionate about environmental causes and aspires to work on climate initiatives in the future.
