Chinese Card Game does not collect any personal information. The app allows you to create and manage a custom word bank, which is stored locally on your device in a file named words.json. This file contains only the Chinese characters, pinyin, and translations you enter, and it is not accessed, shared, or transmitted by us.
To save and load your custom word bank, Chinese Card Game writes to and reads from a local file (words.json) in your device’s document directory. This requires your permission, which is requested when you first use the word bank feature. You can manage this permission in your device’s Settings under Privacy > Files and Folders. No data from this file is sent to us or any third party.
The data in words.json is used solely to display your custom words during gameplay, enhancing your Chinese learning experience. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
All data created by the app is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, the words.json file may be removed, so consider backing up your word bank if needed. We do not store any data on our servers.
Your word bank data is protected by your device’s built-in security features, such as file system encryption. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a passcode or biometric lock to safeguard your data.
Chinese Card Game does not use third-party services that collect or process user data, such as analytics or advertising tools.
The app is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us to address any concerns.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Please check periodically for updates.
