IRES and the Sustainable Development Goals

The Institute for Research and European Studies (IRES), as a signatory of the SDG Publishers Compact, is committed to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through research, education, scientific publishing, and international cooperation.

IRES primarily contributes to SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by promoting knowledge sharing, open science, democratic values, evidence-based policy, and global academic collaboration. Through its activities, IRES also supports SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities and SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth by advancing inclusion, capacity building, and the development of expertise.

Through responsible publishing and the dissemination of knowledge, IRES strives to contribute to a more informed, inclusive, and sustainable future.
