Connecting Minds: The IRES Expert Network
The Expert Network of the Institute for Research and European Studies (IRES) is a dynamic platform that brings together interdisciplinary specialists in the social sciences. It serves as a collaborative forum where scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world engage in research projects, share policy insights, develop educational initiatives, and participate in public outreach. By integrating diverse perspectives across borders, the Network has established itself as a key global hub for advancing knowledge.
Membership in the Expert Network is periodically reviewed and updated to reflect the evolving priorities of IRES and the active engagement of its members. Updates may be implemented unilaterally or by mutual agreement, as outlined in the Letter of Agreement signed upon joining.
Members primarily collaborate through digital platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, ensuring regular interaction regardless of geographic location. In-person or hybrid meetings may also be organized in conjunction with conferences, workshops, or other academic events.
Ongoing communication is supported by the Network’s mailing list, email correspondence, and shared digital tools, enabling members to exchange ideas, coordinate research projects, and collaborate efficiently on policy and educational initiatives.
