Transportation

The closest MRT stations to the venue are Shilin, Jiantan and Zhishan on the Red Line of the Taipei MRT system (https://english.metro.taipei/ ).

Buses Red5, 260, 681, 303 etc. may take you to Chinese Culture University Bus Stop.

From Taipei Airports to Shilin district:

• TPE (Taoyuan Airport, 台北桃園機場)

By MRT-

1. Follow the sign of Taoyuan Airport MRT at the airport and take it to Taipei Station. (37 or 50mins, NTD. 160) https://www.taoyuan-airport.com/english/taoyuan_metro

2. At Taipei Station, find the Red Line of MRT. It is some 10 mins walk.

3. Take a Red Line train toward Tamsui which will take you to Shilin. (11 mins, NTD. 25)

By Taxi-

Taxi service counters are at the west side of Arrivals Lobby. It takes about 30 mins and costs about NTD. 1000~1200 from the airport to Shilin and Tianmu area.

• TSA (Taipei Songshan Airport, 台北松山機場)

By MRT-

1. MRT station is just outside the airport. Take a train to Nanjing-Fuxin.

2. Transfer to the Green Line to Zhongshan.

3. Transfer to the Red Line to Shilin MRT station. (Totally 30mins, NTD. 30)

By Taxi-

It takes about 30 mins and costs NTD. 250~300 from the airport to Shilin or Tianmu area.

By Bus-

Take Dunhua MetroBus at Fu-Jin St Intersection Stop to Shilin and Tianmu area. (About 30mins, NTD. 30. See the map on the right. You will need to go out of the area of the airport and go across a wide road. The Red mark in the map is the bus stop.)

Note:

Basically Taipei is a friendly and safe city. But the traffic can be very dangerous. Many cars and motorcycles would not yield to pedestrians. DO WATCH TWO SIDES whenever you are walking across a road or a street, or even a narrow lane.
