In the course Principles of Marketing, the most interesting topic for me was "Pricing Strategy". I enjoy the study about how companies decide the prices for their stuff and how it affects the thinking of people. The idea of having higher prices for luxury things and still making sure people can buy them is interesting. Learning about the balance between making a brand valuable and making it affordable is something I hadn't thought about much. This topic shows me how tricky and smart companies have to be about setting prices. This topic not only expanded my knowledge of pricing tactics but also highlighted the tactical choices related to product positioning in the marketplace.
