Medcytix is an educational medical terminology app designed to help students and health professionals learn medical terms through definitions, word parts, pronunciation, flashcards, quizzes, favorites, and structured lessons.
This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for Medcytix purchases made through the Apple App Store on iOS.
Medcytix may offer paid access options through Apple In-App Purchase.
Paid access may unlock additional learning content, features, medical terms, word parts, pronunciation tools, flashcards, quizzes, favorites, structured lessons, and other premium materials.
Paid access may be offered as:
A monthly subscription, if available
A one-time purchase, if available
Prices may appear in the user’s local currency depending on country or region, App Store settings, exchange rates, taxes, and applicable Apple pricing rules.
All iOS purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store users’ payment card details, bank information, billing credentials, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials.
Apple may provide the App with purchase status information, transaction information, or purchase confirmation data so that paid access can be unlocked, restored, renewed, or verified on the user’s device.
Payment processing, purchase management, subscription billing, cancellations, refunds, and App Store account activity are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
Refund requests for purchases made on iOS are handled by Apple through the App Store.
We cannot directly issue App Store refunds ourselves because payment processing and refund decisions are handled by Apple.
Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary depending on Apple’s policies, the user’s country or region, applicable law, purchase type, and purchase status.
To request a refund for an App Store purchase, users should follow Apple’s official refund process:
Go to Apple’s “Report a Problem” page.
Sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Choose “Request a refund.”
Select the relevant purchase.
Submit the request to Apple.

If Medcytix offers a monthly subscription on iOS, the subscription is managed through the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through the user’s Apple Account before the next billing date.
Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple Account or App Store subscription settings.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals, but it does not automatically refund previous payments. Refund requests for subscription payments are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies and applicable law.
Access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless Apple’s refund process or purchase status update changes access earlier.
If Medcytix offers a one-time purchase on iOS, the purchase is processed through Apple In-App Purchase.
One-time purchases may be restored on eligible devices using the same Apple Account used for the original purchase, subject to App Store purchase availability and Apple policies.
Refund requests for one-time purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store refund process.
If Apple approves a refund, paid access to Medcytix premium features may be removed, disabled, or revoked.
For refunded one-time purchases, premium access may be disabled after the refund is processed or when the App receives updated purchase status information from Apple.
For refunded subscriptions, access may be canceled or adjusted according to Apple’s subscription and refund handling.
Users may still have access to any free features available in the App.
If users purchased paid access but cannot access premium features, they should try the “Restore Purchase” option in the App, if available.
Common solutions may include:
Confirming that the same Apple Account used for the original purchase is active on the device
Using the “Restore Purchase” option
Checking internet access for purchase validation
Updating the App to the latest version
Restarting the App
Restarting the device if the problem continues
If paid access still does not restore, users may contact us for support.
If users experience a technical problem, we encourage them to contact us before requesting a refund. We may be able to help restore access or resolve the issue.
Examples of technical problems include:
App content not loading properly
Audio pronunciation not working
Paid access not appearing after purchase
Restore Purchase not working
App crash
Layout or display issue
Incorrect display of Arabic or English medical terminology

Users may also contact us for general guidance, but Apple is responsible for processing App Store refunds.
Refund support may be limited where:
The request must be handled directly by Apple
Apple does not approve the refund request
The purchase was already refunded
The request appears abusive, fraudulent, or repeated
There is evidence of unauthorized redistribution, modification of the App, or attempts to bypass Apple In-App Purchase, purchase verification, licensing, or premium access systems
The issue is caused by device limitations, unsupported device settings, or external services outside our control
This does not limit any rights users may have under applicable consumer protection laws or Apple’s policies.

The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making guidance. Refund support cannot be based on use of the App as a substitute for professional medical advice or clinical decision-making.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
The refund policy that applies to a purchase is generally the policy in effect at the time of purchase, unless a change is required by law, Apple policies, or applicable platform rules.
