What to do now
- Complete the Spectroscopy Lab
- You and your partner will conduct the experiment during my office hours. Pick a day of the week that will work for both you and your partner and email me with your decided date
- Read through the lab instructions prior to arriving.
- Both the instructions for how to build your spectrometer and the instructions for the experiment
- Complete the lab and gather the results
- Use the post experiment discussion to ask questions about your results and discuss your findings
- Use your spectrometer to analyze a household liquid and discuss results via Flipgrid

Directions:
- Collect templates, DVD fragment, scissors, and tape from the instructor
- Follow instructions on template 1 to create narrow slit
- Fold/cut/tape along appropriate lines on template 2 being sure to attach narrow slit
- Attach to phone camera
- Calibrate your spectrometer at one of the lightbulb stations using https://spectralworkbench.org/capture
