Each week will have its own assigned lectures for you to watch before the exam. You are responsible for watching all of the assigned videos as part of your participation. (Canvas logs your hours!)
(Time: About 6-7 hours a week)
There will be one discussion due each week, with final posts due on Saturdays. I recommend you work on these early, so you can interact with your peers!
(Time: About 1 hour a week max)
Practice quizzes are ungraded quizzes that allow you to review the material before an exam. Although they don't earn you points, they will help you to be more prepared!
We will dedicate each day in lab to one lab activity that relates to the material learned in lecture.
Pro Tip: You can get through lab faster if you watch the lectures before!
Lab activities will be posted on Canvas. You can either bring a physical copy (printed) or digital copy that can be edited on an electronic device.
These are quizzes are given at the end of the day, during last 30 minutes of lab. The questions on this quiz will test your knowledge of the information in the lab, specifically.
Note: Lecture topics and lab topics are interrelated! The more you prepare outside of the class, the better you will do during the lab.
One day each week will be dedicated for a Review Session and Exam.
