Dr. hab. Eystein Dahl
Eystein Dahl (PhD University of Oslo 2008, Habilitation MIUR 2013) is currently associate professor at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. He has previously worked at the University of Bergen, UiT- The Arctic University of Norway and the Goethe University in Frankfurt a.M. His research interests lie at the interface between comparative philology and diachronic typology. His recent work deals with tense/aspect semantics, alignment typology and morphosyntactic change in Indo-European languages, including Vedic Sanskrit, Latin, Ancient Greek, and Hittite. Currently, he has been working extensively on argument realisation morphosyntax, with particular focus on transitivity prominence besides alignment and subjecthood.
